PEG-150 Distearate is a polyethylene glycol diester of stearic acid used primarily as a thickening agent in surfactant-based personal care formulations. It is the standard thickener in commercial shampoos, body washes, hand washes and facial cleansers. Effective at very low use levels (0.5–2%), it builds viscosity in surfactant systems without affecting foam or lather. Also compatible as an emulsifier and solubiliser. Dissolve in hot surfactant base above 70°C. Use level: 0.5–3%. For external use only.

• EFFICIENT AT LOW LEVELS – Thickens surfactant systems at just 0.5–2% use level. Creates a smooth, consistent viscosity in liquid cleansers without affecting lather or foam quality.
• COMPATIBLE EMULSIFIER – Also functions as a mild emulsifier and solubiliser in personal care systems. Compatible with SLES, SLS, CAPB and all standard surfactant blends.
• USE LEVEL 0.5–3% – Dissolve in hot water (70–80°C) or melt into hot surfactant base. Stir until fully dissolved, then cool. Compatible with all anionic, amphoteric and non-ionic systems.
• WHITE FLAKES COSMETIC GRADE – White to off-white waxy flakes. Stable in surfactant systems. Batch-tested. For external use only.
